Voluntary Rate Contributions
Members may if they wish, make additional contributions on top of the minimum prescribed rate (6%) to the Fund to maximize their benefits on withdrawal from the Fund.
The employees may choose to increase to a maximum of 15% from their gross salary. The additional rate from 1% - 9% is contributed on a voluntary basis.
If a member is repaying his or her housing advance at a rate of 2% will have to choose any rate from 1% to 7% on voluntary terms in addition to the 6% employee contribution.
