Mabuhay Investment Limited trading as Wellness Medical Clinic in Lae, Morobe Province is Nambawan Super’s new employer group that recently signed up with Nambawan super to cater for its employees’ contributions. The clinic currently has a total of 30 employees including expatriates that have commenced superannuation contribution to Nambawan super. The medical clinic has been in operation since 2006 and have been providing various clinical services to the public. The clinic is owned and operated by Mr and Mrs Solano, both expatriates with medical backgrounds.

In Port Moresby, Five (5) private companies have signed up in the first quarter of 2017. They are Pacific Network Services Limited, PNG Lending Consultants, Tasty Bites Sharah Ltd, 2G Development and CPL Farmers Market.

In West New Britain, private companies that have signed up with Nambawan Super are Unea Shipping, Karato Ltd and Kulungi Estate. In New Ireland, Network International, United Church Pastors Training College and the Institute of Business Studies started contributing to Nambawan Super Ltd and in East New Britain Gaulim Teachers College Ancillary Sta, Billy Architects and Rovarez Petrolero Engineering.

All these companies have complied with the Superannuation Act 2000 by engaging its employees to contribute to an authorised superannuation Fund. Acting Chief Executive Officer, Vere Arava said a lot of business operators in PNG do not take heed of the Business Laws of PNG. “Businesses that don’t take heed and contribute eventually are penalised for not complying under the Superannuation General Provisions Act.
