Nambawan Super has announced new key appointments to its Executive Management Team.

 Mr Pochon Lili has been appointed as NSL’s new Chief Financial Officer. Mr Lili replaces Mr Vere Arava who was recently promoted to Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Mr Lili has a wealth of experience in the Finance sector.

 He holds a Bachelor in Management from the University of Papua New Guinea and is an Associate Member of the Certified Practicing Accountants, PNG. 

 Pochon has a depth of experience in accounting having worked with two or big four accounting firms PWC, and Deloitte. Before joining NSL, Mr Lili was the Financial Officer for BSP Finance, a subsidiary of Bank South Pacific.

 Ms Beverlyn Malken is the new General Manager Corporate Governance and Company Secretary. Ms Malken holds a Masters in Business Management from Divine Word University and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Papua New Guinea.

 Before joining NSL, Ms Malken was with Credit Corporation where she served as the Company Board Secretary.  She has also held positions such as Group Corporate Services Manager and Group HR & Administration Manager.

 In welcoming the new appointments, Nambawan Super’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Paul Sayer said, Mr Lili and Ms Malken both bring a plenitude of knowledge and experience to Nambawan Super.

 “The Fund remains committed to growing the capacity of its team and investing in future leaders from within the Fund and the new appointments strengthen the senior management team.”

 In 2020 Nambawan Super has made a number of strategic appointments to grow the strength in senior management – to build the next Executive Leadership Team.
