We are currently seeking to recruit a suitably qualified, experienced and highly motivated individual for the position of Financial Systems Analyst based at our Head Office in Port Moresby.
This role reports to the Deputy Chief Financial Officer, and is responsible for the seamless flow of financial systems and processes including workflows, data quality and reporting of all the divisions within the Department.
Key responsibilities:
- Regular review and examination of all financial systems and workflows.
- Monitor and maintain data integrity across all financial systems.
- Regular audits on transactional data, reports and system functionalities.
- Solving problems with existing systems (Pronto).
- Analyses feasibility and develop SOPs and requirements for new business systems.
- Provide necessary user trainings and awareness.
- Manage projects to ensure no interruptions from IT changes to the systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business or IT discipline.
- Experience in Financial Systems Analyst role or similar with aligned industry.
- Proficient in Pronto ERP Systems, Microsoft Office Suite including Visio & Excel.
- Sufficient knowledge of Accounting, Budgeting and Finance processes.
- Sufficient knowledge of Superannuation Legislations.
- Self-reliant, highly motivated and resilient individual and can work under minimal supervision.
- Possess meticulous attention to detail, good organizational, analytical & interpersonal skills.
