As part of the Digital Adoption drive, Members received hands-on assistance to register and activate digital services on their smartphones, including the NSL Online Member Portal, NSL Mobile App, and SMS Balance Check. Members were also assisted to updated their personal details, apply for their membership ID cards.
Financial Literacy Training was conducted during the week with Teachers, Police, and Medical Professionals in Daru, covering modules that provided Members with practical knowledge on managing personal finances, understanding NSL’s products and services, setting financial goals and planning for retirement.
To close of the week of engagement, the team set-up at Edward Baxter Riley Primary School on a Saturday, 1 August 2026. Opening the branch on a weekend allowed NSL Members who were busy during the week to come in and receive hands-on assistance to register and activate NSL’s digital services on their smartphones.
NSL Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Lachlan Baird thanked all NSL Members and Employers for welcoming the team into Daru and making the most of this engagement through their participation.

The engagement also provided NSL with an opportunity to listen to Members, understand their needs and provide direct support to improve their experience with the Fund.
NSL will continue to roll out its Member engagement programs nationwide, delivering initiatives that improve financial awareness and encourage digital adoption with the aim to strengthen overall Member satisfaction.
