Nambawan Super Limited (NSL) wrapped up a successful engagement at the 2026 Hausples Real Estate Expo on Saturday at the Sir John Guise Indoor Stadium.
The NSL team provided Members with information on their Housing Advance eligibility, application requirements, and the process for accessing the benefit.
Over the two-day event, the NSL team engaged with more than 200 Members and prospective Members, assisting them with housing-related enquiries, account balance checks, membership card printing, and general superannuation services.
Members were also encouraged to make Voluntary Contributions in addition to their regular superannuation deductions, as this can increase their Housing Advance eligibility.
NSL Chief Executive Officer Mr. Lachlan Baird, commended the organisers for delivering yet another successful Hausples Expo.
“At NSL we recognise the growing demand for affordable housing solutions across PNG and the Hausples Expo provides a platform for our Members to explore their housing options in one convenient location.”
"The strong turnout at this year's Expo demonstrates the growing interest among Papua New Guineans in home ownership and financial planning. We were pleased to assist more than 200 Members and prospective Members over the two days and provide them with information to help them make informed housing decisions," Mr. Baird said.
“In 2025 alone, NSL paid out about K115million in Housing Advances to support over 5,000 NSL Members build new homes, purchase their homes or fund their home maintenance.”
By bringing services directly to the expo floor, NSL has enabled Members to verify their financial capacity and conveniently consult with real estate developers, financial institutions, building suppliers and other exhibitors at the venue.
“NSL’s mandate is to help Members build a financially secure future in retirement, and home ownership is an important part of that journey. Through the Housing Advance benefit, eligible Members can access a portion of their superannuation savings to help achieve their home ownership goals and build a place they can eventually retire in."
"As Papua New Guinea's largest, longest-serving and most trusted superannuation fund, we remain committed to safeguarding our Members superannuation savings and help them achieve a financially secure retirement," Mr. Baird said.
“I would like to extend my appreciation to all our Members who visited the booth with their queries and engaged with our Member Services team set-up at the Hausples Expo. Members who were unable to attend the expo can access the same services by a Free Call to our Call Centre team on 1801599 or visit their nearest Branch.”
