Nambawan Super Limited (NSL) officially opened its newly relocated and upgraded Madang Branch, marking another milestone in the Fund’s commitment to improving services for its Members across the country.
The Madang Branch, previously located within the Post PNG Office, has now been relocated to the Fenske Aben Building along Modilon Road. The new site boasts a modern look and feel, making it easier for Members to locate and access services in the heart of Madang town.
The Branch opening was officiated by NSL Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Paul Sayer, with key representatives such as Mr. Daniel Mollen who is the NSL Membership Committee Representative for PNG Correctional Services, who represented the NSL Membership Committee and representatives from the Madang Provincial Administration. Attendees included Nambawan Super Members from the public sector including; Police, Teachers, Fire Services, private sector employees and Choice Super Members within the province.
NSL CEO Mr. Paul Sayer said, “This relocation is part of NSL’s larger Branch Relocation and Expansion Project that aims to bring services closer to Members’ doorsteps while also improving on the quality of services and facilities provided.”
“All our new and relocated Branches have been upgraded to improve Members’ experience and ensure our staff have everything they need to deliver high-quality services.”
“Through this exercise, we want to ensure that we can provide a standard welcoming look and feel across all our 22 Branches nationwide so that our Members receive the same level of high-quality service wherever they are.”
“The new location of the NSL Madang Branch is conveniently close to schools, Government offices, key state institutions, local and private businesses that employ our hardworking Members. It will also serve Members such as Teachers, Health Workers and other Members who travel into Madang town to run their errands.”
“The new Madang Branch features highly-visible Brand signage outside that NSL Members will not miss. The Branch includes a waiting area that can seat up to 32 Members, three service counters for NSL Members, one dedicated counter for Nambawan Saving and Loans Society, a private interview room and a separate training room that can accommodate up to 8 Members. Our team will use this facility to deliver targeted Member training on site, including our FREE Financial Literacy Program, Retirement Counselling and general product & service awareness sessions. The Branch is equipped with air-conditioning and a backup generator to ensure business continuity and provide a comfortable experience for NSL Members who live and work in Madang Province.” Mr. Sayer stated.
“We plan to further upgrade the Madang Branch by introducing a ticketing system, a self-service kiosk, and a solar system to support our backup services as part of our Environmental, Social and Governance initiative. The ticketing system and self-service kiosk will be piloted in Madang before being implemented at other Branches under the Branch Relocation and Expansion Project, which will continue through 2026.”
